What is Chiropractic?

Our Office
Centrally located at the corner of Osage and 5th street, we are here to serve you Monday through Saturday. We offer consistent hours, and a variety of services to meet your needs. We treat conditions of all kinds, in patients of all ages. We accept most insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Our Services
- Chiropractic Adjustments - A good chiropractic adjustment is quick, it's effective at restoring joint motion and relieving symptoms, and it should be a largely comfortable process. Our doctors provide safe, effective, clinically proven care to get you out of pain and restore function using both their hands and at times assistance from the tables or a hand held device. We know that not all patients are created equal, and people prefer different approaches.
- Acupuncture - Acupuncture is a method of encouraging the body to promote natural healing and improve function. This is done by inserting sterilized, stainless-steel needles (that are as fine as a human hair) into specific points located near or on the surface of the skin which have the ability to alter various biochemical and physiological conditions in order to treat a wide variety of illnesses.
- Electrical therapies - Electrical stimulation may directly block transmission of pain signals along nerves, and promote the release of endorphins, which are natural painkillers produced by the body. These effects allow muscles to relax and often release spasms in both superficial and deep tissues affecting the patient’s condition.
- Ultrasound - Ultrasound therapy can help reduce swelling, increase blood flow, and decrease pain, stiffness, and spasms, making it a viable therapy for numerous applications. Ultrasound is particularly useful in decreasing inflammation that often contributes to radiating, and deep joint pain.
- Intersegmental traction - When the joints of the spine aren’t moving properly sometimes it’s more beneficial to provide gentle consistent or repetitive motion to restore movement, rather than a quick adjustment. Traction is also beneficial for relaxation, and relieving muscle tension, as well as providing the type of motion that restores nutrition to the disc spaces.
